Italy’s Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security (Mase) has issued final approvals for five new battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, paving the way for 361 MW of new capacity to be added to the nation’s grid.
[pdf] Tesla has unveiled two new energy storage products: Megapack 3, the latest generation of its utility-scale energy storage system, and Megablock, which integrates Megapack 3 with transformers and switchgear.
[pdf] The project, considered the world's largest solar-storage project, will install 3.5GW of solar photovoltaic capacity and a 4.5GWh battery storage system. The project has commenced in November 2024.
