[pdf] Huawei and SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Co Ltd successfully signed the Saudi Red Sea New City energy storage project during the Global Digital Power Summit 2021 in Dubai, according to a statement released on Huawei's official WeChat account.
[pdf] The project, considered the world's largest solar-storage project, will install 3.5GW of solar photovoltaic capacity and a 4.5GWh battery storage system. The project has commenced in November 2024.
