[pdf] The Kenya Electricity Generating Company PLC (KenGen), has been designated to be the Implementing Agency for the Kenyan Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), which is part of the Kenya Green and Resilient Expansion of Energy (GREEN) program, funded by the World Bank.
