The project, considered the world's largest solar-storage project, will install 3.5GW of solar photovoltaic capacity and a 4.5GWh battery storage system. The project has commenced in November 2024.
[pdf] The largest hybrid farm in Central and Eastern Europe will be built in Poland, combining a photovoltaic and a wind power plants with a total capacity of 205 MW. The annual production will supply electricity to more than 100,000 households and reduce CO2 emissions by nearly 160 tons.
[pdf] The first phase of the projects, which have a total capacity of 1.6 GWh, is already underway, with substation infrastructure under construction. The two storage facilities, located in Turosn Koscielna and Nowa Wies Elcka, are expected to be operational in 2028.
