In partnership with Space Solar, Reykjavik Energy, and Transition Labs, Iceland aims to build a solar power plant in orbit, projected to generate up to 30 megawatts of electricity — enough to power thousands of homes.
[pdf] State-owned Belarusian oil company Belorusneft has finalized its 55 MW solar project more than three years after the initial announcement. The facility will sell power to Pure Energy LLC, the power utility of the Mogilev Region.
